1. Introduction

This Policy explains how Lawcel (Vesterbrogade 52a, 3250 Gilleleje, Denmark) uses cookies on lawcel.com and app.lawcel.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy and addresses our obligations under the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Denmark, the UK PECR, and the GDPR.

Cookies are small text files that let a site recognise your device across pages or visits. This Policy also covers equivalent technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels, beacons) where we use them.

Analytics and marketing

We do not currently set analytics, marketing, or advertising cookies. If we add any, we will update this Policy and ask for renewed consent before they are set.

3. Third-Party Cookies

The Sites do not currently load third-party services that set cookies in your browser. AI features run server-to-server from our backend. If we add a third-party widget, embed, or analytics service that sets cookies, we will update this Policy and request renewed consent where required.

Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because they are required to deliver the Service you have requested. For any non-essential cookies we may add in future, we will request consent via a banner with Accept all, Reject all non-essential, and Manage preferences options. You can change your choice any time via the Cookie settings link in the lawcel.com footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

We do not pre-tick consent boxes and do not condition access on accepting non-essential cookies. Your consent choice is logged so we can demonstrate compliance with Article 7(1) GDPR.

5. Managing Cookies

You can also manage cookies via your browser settings — view, delete, or block them by site or in general. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the authenticated application from functioning.

6. Changes

We may update this Policy when we add new cookies, change providers, or receive new regulatory guidance. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will trigger a renewed consent request.
